Guillermo aka ‘Momo’ is my special potato boy. Golden like a Yukon, and just versatile too. Also though sometimes a couch potato that needs a little extra encouragement to giddy up and go. Part Andalusian, part Appaloosa gelding ~15.2h 13 years old He is currently shedding out his light blonde winter coat which will reveal a dark golden coat with hints of dapple. He’s a handsome dude. Fantastic trail horse Fun in an arena Haven’t attempted jumping yet but I can see him rocking it. Has been in both western and English tack with no problem in either. Mo needs what I cannot currently give him with a 5 month old babe in a front pack: time and consistency. He and I worked on some basic foundational liberty training and he is a super quick learner. He was trained by “dancing horse” cowboys in the Yakima area before we got him, and I know he has buttons I haven’t quite learned how to push yet. Mo is not a kid horse, or a beginner horse. He’s a singe partner, long term commitment kind of guy. He wants to know you’re serious, you know what you’re doing, and he can trust you. Mo needs an alpha personality type in a human - and an alpha mare in the herd to give him all the step by step directions. 🥕Up to date on vaccines + dewormer 🥕Diet includes an alfalfa hay mix and a handful of alfalfa pellets soaked with gastro elm plus in the evenings. (super easy keeper) 🥕Routine farrier care, Mo has some solid, beautiful feet (currently barefoot and loving it) 🥕Great with our herd + Nigerian dwarf goats + cats + chickens (doesn’t mind dogs if the dogs don’t mind him) Located in Walla Walla WA I will be asking for references from vet and farrier, and if possible updates from time to time. I love this boy very much, and he deserves his next best adventure with someone who will feel the same.
