Have you heard of Highland ponies?
Have you been searching for a Highland Pony? With less then 100 in North America... they are few and far between. Highlands are listed as Endangered with the Rare Breed Survival Trust.
Highlands are a hardy breed with multiple uses. Riding, Packing, Driving, Farm work... They are more of a small draft horse then a pony... being the largest of the Mountain moorland Pony breeds.
Highlands are also gaining a foothold in Cowboy action shooting, Mounted Archery, Dressage and Jumping arenas.
Ours are used for trail riding, packing and driving here in Wyoming.
Andy Mac is true to his breed... Stout, curious, cooperative and charming. His Dam, Piper, stands 14.1 hh and his sire, Duncan is 14.2. His Registration has been mailed off to Scotland and will be complete by weaning in mid Sept. He will be ready to go in any direction.
