Not your average young prospect. Lindi is a Warmblood/AQHA mare with European performance blood behind her, including the legendary Stakkato and Rubinstein I. She is the kind of horse that is a lot of fun to train, I enjoy every minute. I raised Lindi myself from the beginning and personally started her under saddle. She now has approximately 30 solid days under saddle and is already quietly jumping cross rails. Stakkato was the 1998 German Bundeschampion of five-year-old jumping horses, Vice-Bundeschampion as a six-year-old, and went on to achieve numerous wins and placings in international show jumping. His influence as a sire has been equally significant, with 76 approved sons, 104 State Premium mares and 246 offspring successful at S-level jumping. Lindi appears to have received her share of natural jumping instinct. Long before she was jumping under saddle, she showed us that ability. This winter she approached a closed gate and realized too late that it wasn't open. She attempted to stop, couldn't quite get it done — and instead jumped the gate clean without touching it. On another occasion, a top paddock board had come down. Several horses were in the field. Lindi was the one who jumped out. She defently likes jumping ...................that is for sure, and I can confirm this under saddle as well. For all that athletic ability, Lindi is not a hot, difficult horse. Quite the opposite. She is naturally quiet and on the lazy side. She is: Extremely comfortable and soft to sit Easy and uncomplicated to ride Quiet-minded Willing Already jumping cross rails Naturally enthusiastic about jumping Great on trails (walk, trot, canter, very controlled and easy) Loads easily in the trailer Stands in cross ties Good with routine handling Currently shod in front Lindi has been handled from day 1 Her pedigree also includes the legendary dressage sire Rubinstein I, a Grand Prix winner whose offspring became particularly sought after for their temperament, movement and willingness to work. That combination is what makes Lindi so exciting to me. Jumping talent without a difficult brain. She is comfortable enough to enjoy riding every day, quiet enough that you aren't constantly managing excess energy, yet when you put a fence in front of her, she lights up and wants to do the job. A PROSPECT — NOT A FINISHED HORSE Lindi currently has approximately 30 days under saddle. I'm not going to represent 30 days as something it isn't. She is green. What you're buying is the quality of the horse underneath the training — her brain, natural athleticism, rideability, comfort, upbringing, pedigree and potential. I've had the advantage of knowing this mare her entire life. I raised her. I started her. And I know exactly what has — and has not — been done with her. The Sire and Dam are at location.
