She competed in the 2D barrel racing before taking the last couple of years off to produce babies. After nearly two years without being ridden, I recently put her back under saddle for the first time, and she was exactly as expected — sound, willing, and moved off my leg beautifully.
She is an exceptionally easy mare to own and maintain. She is completely sound with no maintenance, is excellent for the farrier and veterinarian, and stays in excellent condition with very little feed — even while nursing.
As a broodmare, she has been just as impressive. She took live cover on the first attempt for both of her foals and has proven to be an outstanding mother. She is attentive, easy with her babies, and consistently keeps weight while nursing.
She offers a combination that is becoming increasingly difficult to find: a proven producer, a good mother, an easy keeper, and a sound mare with a successful barrel-racing background.
She would be an excellent addition to a breeding program or a great opportunity for someone looking for a mare to bring back into the barrel pen.
