Ranger is a striking registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding, standing 16.1 hands tall with a beautiful buckskin coat. Hand selected and started here at Leatherwood, Ranger has been brought along the right way with a calm, cool, and steady foundation for a bright future.
Do not let his height fool you! Ranger steps right up to the mounting block and patiently waits for his rider. He has been exposed to farm life, including tractors, ATVs, vehicles, and kids playing. Nothing rattles him.
Ranger has been driven just as much as he has been ridden, giving him a well-rounded foundation and calm confidence whether under saddle or in harness.
On the trail, Ranger shines. He confidently crosses water, logs, and mud, and will stop and wait when asked. He rides out alone or with others and gets along well in the pasture. In the barn, he has impeccable manners, standing quietly for baths, grooming, and farrier visits.
